The automations department of Teka Systems deals with project planning, design
and realization of industrial automation and supervisory control systems. Τhe
department is involved in all stages of a project, such as planning, procurement,
supervision, training and technical support of the technological automation solutions.
The department of automation and supervisory control systems provides solutions
of technological applications for the fields of
a) industry, b) environment, c) utilities sector and d) energy. It specializes
in:

Supervisory control of urban Water Supply and Drainage systems.

Automation and Supervisory control systems for biological purification
-
Automation and supervisory control of industrial production lines: melting furnaces,
tube rolling mills, presses.

Automation and supervisory control (SCADA) for the beer brewing industry.
As far as the environment sector is concerned, the company has developed a water
resources management system, that can be modified and customized according to
the specific requirements/needs of water supply networks. These technological
solutions can be applied to both, companies of the public and private sector,
and as a result improve the quality and the quantity of the production process
by monitoring errors, tracing leaks and allowing the maintenance personnel to
intervene.
So far, Teka Systems has successfully completed the following projects, in the
field of automations and supervisory control systems:

Project in the municipality of Etolikon, which comprises the development, installation
and operation of an integrated system for the remote-control and operation of
the water supply network in the city of Aetolikos. The system consists of one
central and several local stations, that control the operation of pumping stations,
the water supply and pressure and the tanks' level.

Project for the installation of a system for the qualitative and quantitative
management of the water resources in the municipality of Mytilene, Lesvos. It
performs the remote control and operation of pumping stations, tanks, water leakage
stations, as well as the automation of the water chlorination. The remote control
allows the registration of various parameters, such as: tanks' levels, water supply
and pressure, pump operation, chlorine level, water clarity and other. The remote
operation includes the operation of the pumps (start/stop), the electric switch
operation, and it is realized a) through timer programs b) automatically, according
to the levels of the tanks and c) manually, based on the operators decision. Various
modifications and malfunctions in the system status are monitored and recorded.

Large project for the construction and installation of an integrated system for
the water supply and sewage system in the city of Chania, Crete.

Project for the remote control and operation system for the sewage draining facilities
in the city of Chania, Crete. The SCADA software is used for the development of
the system. Information concerning various parameters is registered and displayed,
for instance: temperature and conductivity measurements, PH, NO3, NH4 measurements. The system also provides information about the functionality of
each part. All data is registered in daily, monthly, yearly archives.

Remote control of the water tanks in the municipality of Markopoulos. Eight tanks
and a main control station constitute the installation. Half of the tanks are
supplied with power by the local network and the rest by photovoltaic systems. |
